J&K Bank vehemently denies media report No change in status of J&K Bank vis-à-vis MetLife India

The speculations reported in some sections of media about the Bank’s policy vis-à-vis its stakes in MetLife India Insurance Co. are far from the truth and we strongly deny the veracity of all such reports. There is no change in the status of our relationship with Metlife India Insurance Company.
We would like to reassure our customers and the people at large that J&K Bank continues to be stake holder in MetLife India besides being their corporate agent.
Any statement issued by any individual in his private capacity in this regard must be deemed lacking in authority and institutional concern.
