‘No Smoking’ at J&K Bank

In the interest of public health and comfort, J&K Bank has declared all its Business Units (B/U)s and Offices as ‘Smoking Free’ zones as all of these spaces fall under the category of ‘public places’.
The decision has been taken in line with Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COPTA) 2003, under which smoking is banned at all public places.
Notably, instructions have already been issued to all controlling offices/business units to strictly adhere to the law.
