39th DLRC meet held in Budgam

The 39th District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of Budgam District was held under the Chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Mohammad Rafi. The meeting was convened by JK Bank which is also the Lead Bank of the district.
After welcoming the participants, the Lead District Manager Mohd Yaqoob briefed the house about the achievement of the banks (for Quarter ending December-2011) operating in the district under District Credit Plan 2011-12.
The Banks have achieved target of 86.75% by disbursing an amount of Rs.105 Crores under priority sector while as in Government Sponsor Schemes the banks have disbursed an amount of Rs.15.08 Crores against the target of Rs. 32.30 Crores.
The Chairman appreciated all the Banks for their efforts in achieving the 86.75% target during the first three quarters of current financial year under priority sector. He informed the house about JK Bank being eligible for Interest Subvention.
He stressed upon the Govt. agencies particularly BDOs of the entire district for educating and making the farmers aware about availing the credit facilities under different schemes especially in Kissan Credit Card Scheme. They were appraised about the targets in the House to be achieved by the end of this fiscal.
The House approved the Credit Plan of Rs. 165.00 Crores for the financial year 2012-13 with Rs. 134.33 Crores for priority sector and Rs. 30.67 crores for non priority sector, which included Rs. 44.73 Crores for government sponsored schemes.
